GMAT EXAM QUERY

What happens when time is up while student is still writing/editing essay. If student could not click submit button, does the last essay automatically gets submitted??
Same doubt for last question of each section. What happens, If student selects an option but does not click on submit button and time is up. Does the last choice selected is automatically assumed as submitted ?

On the real test, if the essays time-out, whatever has been entered will be saved and submitted (even without clicking next or confirm). Ditto on the multiple-choice: if you have selected an option on the real test and the time runs out, it will still submit whatever you selected.
