GMAT distance math

A circular jogging track which forms an edge around a circular lake that has a diameter of 2 miles. John walked around the track at a average rate of 3 miles per hour. If T represent the number of hour it took John to walk completely around the lake. Which of the following is a correct statement?

a. 0.5<t<0.75
b. 1.75<t<2.00
c. 2.00<t<2.50
d. 2.75<t<3.00
e. 3.00<t<3.50

Can some one please help me out solving the problem?
