Given 4x-12>x+9

MGMAT Strategy guide ,4th Edition, Equations, Inequalities and VICS: Page 101; Qn 1.

Given 4x-12>x+9 which of the following is true?


a) x>6
b) x<7
c) x>7
d) x>8
e) x<8


Solving , we get x > 7
Answer given is choice a in Page 103


Why is the answer not c ?

Please respond....

I believe that the actual IA questions was 4X-12 is greater than or equal to X+9, which would make choice A correct.

I think Choice A is incorrect.

Maybe the book has the answer. it's a simple math.
