general questions re: quant section

hi there,

in some of gmat math problems, gmat does provide conversion factors, such as 1mile = 1.4 km; however, i came across one problem where a conversion factor was not given (for ft and mile). are we expected to memorize these conversion factors?

They do have some old problems that don't have the conversion factors, but they made an announcement last year that they will always give such conversion factors from now on - so you don't need to worry about it for the real test! :)
