Foundations of Math pg 74 questions 3 and 5

Are the answer explanations for questions 3 and 5 correct?

I don't think they but i want to make sure I am not missing something.

In #3, to mulitply to a positive 28 both factors must be either positive or negative, correct? The answer explanation show different signs.

In #5 I think they have the signs misplaced for the factors.

I just want to make sure I am not missing something here.
