First test taken, now what to do?

by arex128 Sun Mar 21, 2010 2:06 pm

Bad news. I just took the test
My most recent practice test (taken WITH the essays) was a 740 (Q47, V44). And the one before was a 720 (Q47, V42).

I'm not sure what to do. I want to get a 720 as a minimum. Honestly, I am completely exhausted from studying and a bit demoralized (at the moment). What do you suggest I do? Should I go hardcore study over the next month (continuing the pace of the last 3 months)?

Today, I was very well rested, energetic, positive, I felt extremely confident during the entire exam. I was getting a bit stir-crazy by the middle of Verbal, though. Also, I ended with 3-4 minutes left on Quant and same case with Verbal.

What should I do?! Thanks and looking forward to your thoughts.

I know you're not happy with your score, but I have to echo what Sanyal said: 690 is a great score.

Did you take our course? If so, you're eligible for a free Post-Exam Assessment - a phone call with an instructor to figure out what went wrong and set up a game plan for your re-take. If you'd like to do this (I strongly recommend it!), send an email to studentservices@manhattangmat.com and ask for a Post-Exam Assessment.

If you don't qualify for a PEA, let us know here on the forums and we'll help you figure out what to do.
