Difference between "though"& "although"

by XinyiQiu Wed Oct 28, 2015 6:22 am

I am confused by the the question whether there is any difference between "though" and "although". I thought they were the same, but "although" may be more formal than "though". But the SC part of Manhattan says "although "should be followed by a dependent scentence. But in OG-2016 #50, Answer choice C, the OA, shows that " though" can be followed by a past participle. So, is any difference between though &although?
