Difference between MGMAT and GMAT Prep software

by botny.priyanka Mon Oct 21, 2013 4:03 pm

Hi MGMAT Team,

Thank you very much for the material that you have prepared. It is been very helpful in getting my assessments.

However, I would like to know if there is a substantial difference between the MGMAT CAT and GMAT Prep CAT?

I have taken tests on both the CATs and I see the below difference in scores. Also I hear from many blogs that MGMAT CAT is a little easier than the GMAT Prep software.

MGMAT 1 : 390
Platinum GMAT (non-CAT) : 600
MGMAT 2 : 360
GMAT Prep : 380
MGMAT 3 : 510
GMAT Prep : 390
MGMAT 4 : 550

I am aiming for a score of 630+ and I have 2 MGMAT CATs + GMAT Prep software left and my exam is in 18 complete days. I have been working on my weaknesses. Calmness and concentration is the key to get the answers correct. I am still working on training my mind for the exam with the content, strategy and pace. I am not waiting for a magic to take place in these 18 days but I am relying on the intuitions.

Could you please help me from the experience that you have seen with students?

Hi,
This is the wrong folder for this question. Please post it in the "General GMAT Strategy Questions" folder.

Thanks.
