Didn't have time to answer last question

Just took the GMAT and I didn't have time to answer the last math question. Does the computer just count it as wrong or does it penalize me even more?

If you clicked on one of the answer bubbles but didn't have time to click "next" and "confirm" then the computer will still count your answer (and, if you answered incorrectly, it will count that as an incorrect answer). If, however, you did NOT click on any of the answer bubbles, then the test will count that as an unanswered question, and the penalty for that is higher than for answering the question incorrectly.

The exact penalty depends upon your scoring level and the question, but the penalty tends to be around 3 percentile points for an unanswered question versus 2 to 2.5 percentile points for an incorrect answer.

i believe the same is not true for manhattan gmat tests?can you please confirm?

Right, this is not true for MGMAT tests; if you run out of time before submitting, it will be counted as an unanswered question on our test. (Basically, we don't want you EVER to run out of time like this on the real test, so we're penalizing you even more. :)
