CR And RC issue

Hi Ron,

Sorry for bothering you.
I have finished all the OG problems and i have practiced all the GMAT Prep problems for CR.
Still i am not getting enough confidence for CR.
And now as i have exhauseted all the resources, i don't have anything to practice as i know answers to most of the OG and other Official questions.
Please help!!!
How should i test my level for CR now, and if I need to improve how should i ...??
And i am having great problems with RC.I am taking 7-8 minutes for short passage and 9-10 minutes for long passage , inspite of doing a lott of practice.
Is there a need to improve my vocabulary by reading some other NON-GMAT stuff.

hi,
this sort of question belongs in the 'general GMAT study questions' folder (= the first folder on the forum home page).

one thing that's absolutely certain, if you're taking that long on RC, is that you're spending way too much time reading the details.
there's a reason why they give you long passages filled with obscure technical details—you shouldn't read those details. the exam is testing your ability to understand the 'big picture' significance of those details, WITHOUT wasting the time to understand all the specifics themselves.
