Courses listed with * next to them

Hi,

I just wanted to know what the asterik (*) means on some of the courses listed (ie: NYC Spring H* 2008). I cannot seem to find it on the page. Thank you.

Excellent question - I have no idea! I'll ask someone from student services to pop on and answer you!

Hi Jeff. That is a great question, with, unfortunately, a dull answer. The asterisk only shows up on NYC classes, and it deals with the size of the classroom that particular class is in. In NYC, our classes max out at either 16 or 18 - and the classes listed with an * max out at the 18 cap. Its more about scheduling classes for us, rather than confusing students! :)

Sorry for the confusion (we may want to adopt a different way to notate this stuff).

Enjoy the forum, and good luck on the GMAT!
