course downloads for mac

by anirudha_81 Mon Jan 18, 2010 10:01 pm

Hi,

I recently joined the MGMAT prep class at the Santa Clara center and was browsing around the Course Downloads section. When trying to use the MGMAT study organizer or the MGMAT Official Guide tracker i noticed that the macros in these files don't work with Office 2008 on the MAC, (I only have a MAC no PC :( ) Just curious if anyone took the time & effort to convert the macros in these files from VBA to AppleScript so that they work on the mac. If someone did please do share the file.

Thanks,
Anirudha

Good question! I know we have the older versions up (2007 and earlier), but I'm not sure about 2008. I'll ask our tech department. (You can also email them yourself to ask: techsupport@manhattangmat.com)

I too am a mac user. i have noticed that the tracker is inaccurately reporting my statistics (marking answers wrong that are actually correct in the OG). This is particularly frustrating and it is wasting my valuable time. Can someone please tell me how I can get a tracker file that is correct and that works for Excel for mac 2008? Thx.

Please contact techsupport@manhattangmat.com or 800.576.GMAT for any technical problems / support.

Are you sure that the tracker file matches the version of the book you're using? That is, might you be using an OG11 book with an OG12 tracker or vice versa?

I only ask because these files have been out for a long time, and I've never had anyone complain about the answers being "off," either in class or on the forums. And I pretty much hear everything. :)
