Consequences of a Retake?

by karangods Sun May 25, 2014 4:06 am

Hello,
I took the GMAT last year (05/30/2013) and scored 710 (Q48 V39).
I'm taking the GMAT again in a week. I have heard that b-schools accept the highest valid GMAT score but I wanted to confirm the same.
Could you please tell me whether a lower score on my second attempt will in anyway go against me or will the schools blindly consider my higher score?

Thanks.

The schools really do use your highest score. If you were to score lower on your second test, that would be okay! (Well, obviously *you* want to score higher - but the schools really will use your 710.)

Nice job! :)
