complete sentence, causing vs complete sentence, thus causing

by aflaamM589 Sun Mar 06, 2016 8:08 pm

Hello Experts,
I hope you guys are doing great.
As we know comma Ving(adverbial) is also used for immediate consequence.
Therefore, will it be redundant to write ,thus causing?
Many thanks.

P.S.There is also a MGMAT SC on this https://www.manhattanprep.com/gmat/foru ... 24185.html

if you see a split between "causing..." and "thus causing..." and there isn't anything more obvious to serve as the basis for a decision, then, yes, you're probably safe in going with "causing...".
