Can I completely switch off timer during MGMAT CAT?

Sorry for ignorance, but I cannot find a way to switch off the timer completely. Can you please advise?

Hi there-

Yes, when you take the practice tests, it will give you the option to take the test entirely untimed. Just be aware, though, that this will make your score much less reliable than if it were timed. Timing is such a huge part of the GMAT and your ultimate score, that there's no to accurately predict your score with an untimed test. That being said, the option is still available to you if you still want to take an untimed test.

Sorry if I misunderstood your question the first time around. When you take the test untimed, the clock is hid. But there's no way to hide the clock and have the test timed.

FYI - on the real test, you can toggle the clock to "off" and not see it. I don't usually recommend doing this, though, because it is important to check in on your timing periodically.

If it's really distracting you, though, you could tape a little piece of paper to your monitor to cover up the time. :)
