Break Time in GMAT

do we get 10 mins or 5 mins break between AWA and Q ?

I know that we can take some warmup/practice question before exam ?

Do I need to take this questions during my break time ? or They can be after 10 / 5 mins break ?

If I take the warm up questions before the exam then do I going to loose some time from my 75 mins of Quatitave or Verbal.

Please clarify.

You get a 10 minute break between the essays and quant, and another 10 minute break between quant and verbal.

There is an instructions sequence in the software before the test starts - it does not take time from your test. You cannot, however, do questions as warm-up once you're in the test room. You can't take anything into the test room with you.

It is a good idea to do some warm-up questions before you go into the room - maybe half an hour before the test. Just do a few and make them VERY easy questions. Also, don't bring the answers with you. You're just warming up your brain; you're not actually trying to study and learn.

On the break, you will have to leave the test room and you can then access a locker (in which you can keep food and drink, for example). Technically, we're not supposed to write anything or study anything on the breaks, but I haven't personally had anyone stop me from reading on the break. I wouldn't do any practice questions on the break - you actually want to give your brain a rest.

it's just instructions.

if you're on this site, then you probably know the instructions cold, so you should use this time to write down any and all necessary notes on your yellow wet-erase pad.
for instance, you should make an elimination grid for verbal; make some ad/bce and bd/ace data sufficiency grids for quant; write timing maps for either section; and write down any other memory joggers or inspirational bits that have helped you in your study.

you should still at least glance at the instructions, though, as some of them are helpful. for instance, a lot of students don't know that you can click anywhere on an answer, not just in the little bubble next to the answer. especially on verbal questions, on which the answers are long and wordy, this can save you a LOT of time. in fact, the time saved by being able to click anywhere on the text, rather than having to zero in on the little dot, for 41 verbal questions in a row can easily add up to the duration of 1-2 additional questions.
