I got something similar to this question in one of the CAT test here at Manhattan:

Bob works exactly 8h every day and produces some widgets per day. How many widgets he produces in half-work full day?

Well the questions seemd to asusme that 8 hours stands for a full work day. but nothing is metioned. Is OK to assume that?

Because I did not and got the question wrong.
