Best way to study idioms (as an native speaker)

by Milanproda1 Wed Jun 22, 2011 3:45 pm

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to study idioms as a native speaker? There are so many it seems counter intuitive to memorize all of the idioms in the SC guide.

Any suggestions?

Thanks ahead of time.

Hi milan,
First, I would focus only on the starred idioms. Any that aren't immediately known or intuitive you can flashcard. After you master those you can start with the non-starred idioms.

Stacey may have some additional ideas in the General forum. general-gmat-strategy-questions-f9.html
