Benchmark problems?

by giteshr Sat Oct 09, 2010 6:45 pm

I'm in a 9-session live classroom.

For the Benchmark problems I have a question.

For the list provided in the Welcome Guide, Benchmark problems are a subset of OG-12 guide.

So as per the syllabus should I be doing just the Benchmark problems only, or all the OG guide's problems as listed in the Strategy Guides?

Thanks
Gitesh

We created the Benchmark list after the books went to print, which is why your books just list ALL of the problems; we'll be updating this at the next printing.

Start with the Benchmark problems. If you're really struggling with them, then look for lower-numbered problems in the same set (from your books). If they're easy, try some higher-numbered problems in the same set. If they're "just right," then you don't need to try easier or harder ones for now.

Don't do ALL of the problems listed in your book; you want to save some for review at the end of the course. :)
