AWA + Reading Comprehension Resources

Which book from Manhattan (or else) would you advise me to use regarding improve my analytical writing and reading comprehension skills? There are also some material on application essays at the bookstores. Which one would you think would serve the purpose best?

I am working on getting my vocabulary sorted out but I also want to have a guide that I can follow along.

We have a Reading Comprehension Strategy Guide for RC, but we do not publish a book for the AWA; we only cover that in our classes. I'm not sure what companies do publish materials for the AWA. You may want to ask that question over at Beat the GMAT (www.beatthegmat.com).

For the RC strategy guide, if you go into the store section of our web site, you can read about the contents and see if it's something you like (or you can go browse in a book store).

Re: application essays, I suggest asking that question in the Admissions Consultant thread (further down the page of folder topics on the MGMAT forum home page). Unfortunately, my expertise is really limited to the test itself.
