At a certain company the avg number of years of experience

by jessica.kramer Sat Feb 28, 2009 12:39 pm

At a certain company the avg number years of experience is 9.8 years for males and 9.1 years for females. What is the ratio of the number of the company's male employees to the number of the company's female employees?

a. There are 52 male employees at the company.
b. The avg number of years of experience for the company's males and females combined is 9.3 years.

The answer is B. (Not sure how B alone is enough, I would have thought the answer was C).

Its B, since the question only asks for the ratio of Men/Women. If it asked for exact figures, then you will need statement 1 to calculate. Let me know if this is clear, or I will post the solution.

Thanks
