Are the GMAT questions repeated

by siddiqui_rashed Tue Jun 29, 2010 10:24 am

Hi everyone,
I wanted to know from the people who have already taken their GMAT, if the questions are repeated or all are new questions. i mean what is the percentage of repeated questions on a GMAT test.

I have not taken GMAT yet but what I heard is that the question data base of GMAT is of more than 10,000 questions and it is being updated regularly so there is hardly any chance of repeatetion of any question.

Good thing is that the pattern of questions remains more or less same. So if one masters all the type of questions then once can crack the GMAT.

So keep doing practice.

the questions which we have in Manhattan, Kaplan and gmatprep give me the feeling that the questions are repetative. eg- i dont know the solution of a problem, i google it and i find it on the net answered. its a little confusing.

Are you kidding?!?! You do understand that there is a difference between published questions that appear in test prep books and questions from the actual GMAT, right? And you understand that the fact that you can google answers to questions written by test prep companies does not mean that real GMAT questions are online or repeated, right? This is totally the stuff CR questions are made of BTW.. :)

To answer your question, no you will not see a repeat question on the multiple choice section of the GMAT. That's why they make you wait a month between tests, so they have time to flush all the old questions out of the test bank and ensure that you will see 100% new questions..
