Application Rounds

by possible894 Mon Jul 06, 2009 10:09 am

Hi,
I had a question about the Application Rounds for MBA schools. I know getting through in R3 is quite difficult, but I am not sure about R1 and R2.

Which round should one generally apply in to have a good chance of an admit?

Thanks

Abhi

In terms of having a "good chance," that depends completely upon the school and upon how competitive your application is for that school. In general, it's much better to have a great application for R2 than an okay application for R1.

If you can manage to have a great application for R1, then that's the ideal scenario - but if you have to make trade-offs, make it great and then send it in for R2.
