Advise on improving verbal score - D-day on 21st July 2012

by frankiesteinster Tue Jun 26, 2012 10:53 pm

First of all thanks to the administrators and fellow GMAT aspirants for posting useful posts time and again! I would seek here further advise on the improving my verbal score. I am very consistent in scoring 32-33 in Verbal section with 17-20 questions correct out of 41. Consistency here was "sarcastic" though. My GMAT exam is on 21st July,2012 and i really want to improve my score to atleast 38-42 range.

Key highlights in my preparation so far has been:
1. Of all the tests given, my accuracy in 2 sections have been above 60% where third goes for a toss.
2. The accuracy shifts based on different tests i give to any one of 3 sections ( SC/RC/CR)
3. I am only able to complete around 31-32 questions in any exam consistently with rest of a minute only given in blind guesses.
4. All the blind guesses are generally wrong even though i stick to guesses with just 1 option.

So if you can observe, it is out of 31-32 questions, i get 17-20 correct. I can know more count this to be atleast a good news since my accuracy in earlier days could have fetched a better score if attempting 41 questions. But in the last month of tests given, I am not able to. Kindly advise steps considering just 25 days for my D-day
