Accuray on Manhattan's CAT

by Guest Wed May 14, 2008 11:52 am

I have taken 3 CATs from the online prep and my scores have been 640, 640, and 650. How accurate is this to the actual GMAC CAT. If I get a similar score in my actual exam I will be more than satisfied.

Standard deviation on our test is about 50 points - that means you are most likely to score within 50 points (up or down) on the official test.

FYI - the official test has a standard deviation of about 30 points. In other words, these types of tests aren't all that precise in general - it's not just our test!

Stacey, thanks to your response. I can deal with +/- 50 points, I will keep practicing, just did the 4th one and got 650 again.

Will do some review on my mistakes of all them and try to improve to see if I can increase the scores on the last 2 tests to at least 680-690.
