Answer is A. As we recycle the plastic the quality reduces. For the lowest grade of plastic the quality will further reduce, but such a low grade will not have any commercial application

The question says that 'no application have been found for lowest commercial grade'

I think that this does not mean no product can be made out of it. Products could be made out the lowest grade plastic, but no application/use of these products have been found yet.

I think answer is E.

Please some instructor chip in.

I also think answer is "E".

I request all instructors to clarify the answer of this...

The answer should be A.
Reason being that, as the argument mentions, when plastic is recycled, a low grade of plastic is obtained. It also mentions the fact that no applications (products) have been found for the lower grade of plastic than the recycled plastic. It simply means that currently it is not possible to make the products using recycled plastic.

correct.

(e) is wrong because there is no evidence that bears on the relative size of the differences in quality. (in fact, differences in the grades of glass aren't even mentioned.)

to the original poster:
please do not make up your own difficulty levels for problems.
these aren't even gmat problems (i recognize the font and margins of the LSAT book here), let alone gmat problems with a specific difficulty level.
we don't want our forum posters to get a distorted picture of "difficulty level".
thanks.
