FROM THE WEST
From Arlington, Virginia, I-66: Take I-66 E/US-50 E via the ramp to Washington (entering District of Columbia). Take the E St ramp to I-66 E. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Kennedy Center/Whitehurst Freeway and merge onto Potomac River Freeway N. Take the Whitehurst Freeway exit. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Pennsylvania Ave and merge onto L St NW. Make a slight right at Pennsylvania Ave NW. At Washington Circle NW, take the 5th exit onto New Hampshire Ave NW.
Turn right at Dupont Circle NW. Turn right at Massachusetts Ave NW. At Scott Circle NW, take the 4th exit onto Rhode Island Ave NW. Turn right at 14th St NW. The center will be on the left.

FROM THE NORTH
From I-495: Head east on Exit 31B toward Georgia Ave/MD-97. Merge onto Georgia Ave/MD-97. Make a slight right at 16th St (entering District of Columbia). Turn left at Irving St NW. Turn right at 13th St NW. At Logan Circle NW, take the 3rd exit onto Vermont Ave NW. Turn right at N St NW. Turn right at 14th St NW. The center is on the right.

FROM THE SOUTH
Follow 395 North and take the exit for Massachusetts Avenue. Turn left on Massachusetts Avenue; Massachusetts Avenue will turn into K St. and then turn into New York Avenue. Continue following New York Avenue to the intersection of 14th Street. Turn right on 14th Street. Continue along 14th Street and around the circle. The center is on the right just past the intersection of 14th and N Streets.

STREET PARKING
Parking meters are located all along 14th Street and the surrounding streets (parts of Rhode Island Avenue, 15th Street, etc.). Monday through Friday the meter is free after 6:30 PM and all day Sunday. Meters are in effect on Saturdays. Some meters display maximum parking times as 1 hour or 2 hours (individual meters may vary). You will have a break during class to run out and pay if you need to add more time. You may also pay with the Meter App. There is no guarantee that parking will be available at or near the Center, so alternate transportation is recommended. You may also be able to find free street parking on Rhode Island Avenue, Vermont Avenue, and 13th Street.

Exit station using 14th & I St NW - Franklin Square exit. Walk approx. 3 blocks N on 14th St NW. Bear left on Thomas Circle NW. Walk a short distance NW on Thomas Circle NW. Walk straight on Vermont Ave NW. Walk a short distance NE on Vermont Ave NW. Bear left on 14th St NW. Walk approx. 1 block N on 14th St NW. Destination is located on the right side of the block between N Street and Rhode Island Ave.

RED LINE (Dupont Circle)
Walking directions from Dupont Circle (Approx. 15 mins)
Exit station using the 19th Street, NW exit. Head southeast. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto P St NW. Turn right onto 14th St NW. Walk 1 block to Rhode Island Avenue. Destination is located on the left side of the block between Rhode Island Ave and N Street.

GREEN AND YELLOW LINES (U Street/African Amer. Civil War Memorial)
Walking directions from U Street/African Amer. Civil War Memorial (Approx. 15 mins)
Exit station using the 13th St., NW exit. Head southwest on Vermont Ave NW toward T St NW. Turn left onto 11th St NW. Turn right onto Vermont Ave NW. Turn right onto Q St NW. Turn left onto 14th St N. Destination is located on the left side of the block between Rhode Island Ave and N Street.

BUS LINES
1. On 14th Street: 52, 53, 54 and DC Circulator
2. On P Street: The G2
